Dr Kribanandan G N
Partner
Dr Kribanandan has a keen interest in design, materials technology and forensics in civil engineering. He has, over the years, built a wealth of knowledge and experience in value engineering, construction and technical risk management, concrete technology, forensic engineering, the appropriate use of NDT diagnostic tools, undertaking durability assurance audits and design life prediction for an entire spectrum of buildings and civil structures. He also often acts as an expert in dispute resolution.
He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) UK and a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM). He represented Malaysia in the ISO Committee TC59/SC14 on Design Life of Buildings and chaired the local committee spearheading the implementation of this new standard. He was the founding president of the American Concrete Institute KL Chapter and has been on the steering committee for the conference series on durability of building materials and components (DBMC) which is held every 3 years since the 10th DBMC in 2007. He has published extensively and is the author of over 250 Technical Reports in various aspects of engineering.
Maqsood Ahmed

Mr Maqsood Ahmed is a registered professional engineer from New York State with a master’s degree in Architecture and master’s degree in structural engineering. He is a board member of special structures committee of American Society of Civil Engineers. 25 years of design / build practice and 18 years of teaching and research. Practice & research work includes fabric structures, specialty glass, suspension roofs, tension rod glazed facades, pedestrian bridges, retractable roofs, 3D organic shapes with structural FRP, skylights with grid shells, mesh structures, specialty facades and more. He has lead design & construction teams at Birdair Inc, Cannon Design, Halcrow international. Currently serves as the Director of design for Specialty Structures USA.
Recent publications include ASCE design code -55 – 2017, Fabric Structures design guide – ASCE/SEI 2013, Steel grid shells – ASCE 2015, Building codes & tension structures – European textile roof convention 2016, . With projects in 26 countries including India, he looks forward to introduce research products from Germany & USA to Architects, Engineers and contractors in India (replace with Mid-east) with a focus on sustainable structures.

Nur has more than 20 years of industrial experience in Singapore, United Kingdom and UAE. An MBA graduate from University of the West of England, UK, Nur has extensive exposure in almost every aspect of the business including Business Development, Marketing, Human Resource, Accounts, Procurement and Admin.
In her recent role with a British construction chemical manufacturing company, Nur has successfully set up and built their Middle East business to be one of the top competitors in the industry. Due to her aggressive marketing activities the company’s network has expanded rapidly in the region by less than 5 years.
Besides that, Nur has worked in various multi-national companies like Shell Eastern Petroleum, Standard Chartered Bank and NHS Tayside in Scotland. Before that, she owned and managed her own well regarded corporate distribution and retail company in Singapore before moving to Scotland. She is known for her dedication, compassion and vision which have led to the accomplishments in her career today.
Now in CDI, Nur is given the role of developing the business and with her vast experience she will play the major role of expanding the business geographically and internally.
